What if you no longer insisted on writing, directing and starring in that
bad “made for TV movie” where you’re always playing the leading victim role?

(Insert dramatic music here)

What kind of miraculous stuff could happen if you were finally willing to let go of
your old story, forgive your past hurts and chose to Stop Playing Dumb about who you really are?

Wicked exciting, right?

I mean, how awesome would it feel to know that no matter what kind of
sucky cards life tries to deal you, you could still play that hand like a champ?
That you could choose to be happy, calm, peaceful and grateful despite your circumstances.

It’s time to see that the very things you’ve been blaming for all your suffering and misery - are actually your ticket home.

A Course in Miracles tell us, “You can have a grievance or you can have a miracle.”

Because fear cannot exist in the presence of Love and darkness cannot exist in the presence of Light.
What lights me up and what (I have to admit) I’m pretty kick-ass at is helping people to
shift their perspective - from fear to Love.

And if you can do that, you can  have a miracle.

I help people move from their Pain to Peace, from Victim to Victory, from Grievance to Gift and from Wound to Wisdom.

And it doesn’t have to be hard.

You can set down your weapons of attack and shields of defenses. You can stop building barriers to Love.

You’re safe now...because here’s the thing, YOU are a child of God.

You, my friend, were born to “create the good, the beautiful and the holy.”

Those days of playing small and whining about how everyone else or everything else is the reason why you can’t kick-ass are over.

It’s time to answer the call of your heart.

Your Spirit is knocking loud and clear and asking you to take that leap of faith. And while that mofo’ is patient as all get out - why would you want to wait any longer?

I remember when I used to think that I was at the mercy of the world.

That I was powerless & helpless to all my circumstances. In fairness, at the time, I had good reason to feel that way. I was 12 years old, my mom had been murdered and I was scared out of my mind.

I swam in the shallow end of the “victim pool” for many years, dog-paddling frantically using pathetic half-inflated arm-floaties that barely kept my head above water. I always felt like I was on the verge of drowning.

And trust me, I tried all kinds of man-made life-rafts to keep myself from sinking. But at the end of the day, that shit had no real power, its got no soul force.

It wasn’t until I found the right books, teachers and mentors and they invited me to trust, dive deeper and take a closer look at how I was showing up.

Once I admitted that I had no idea what the feck’ I was doing, I actually became teachable.

I accepted the fact that if I could have figured it all out on my own already - I would have.

with the right help, I realized some powerful and revolutionary truths like:

  • I'm a child of God/Love & Only Love is Real.

  • I always have a choice as to how I respond to whatever's happening.

  • That mentors are great - but tormentors can take your ass a long way too.

  • That my mind is the Cause & the world is simply the Effect.

  • If I don’t like what’s happening “out there” - I have to change what’s “in here”.

When I started to really get this - to not just understand it - but to apply it, practice it and live it - EVERYTHING changed.

I took my power back.

And once I understood how to help myself - I naturally wanted to help others too.

Look, let’s call a spade a spade - life can be tough. People can do some crazy, cruel things to one another and at times it can feel like we’re participating in the feckin’ Forgiveness Olympics.

But here’s what I know to be true, even though some pain is inevitable - suffering is optional.

I’ve been blessed to work with people who’ve had more than their fair share of wicked hard shit happen to them. I’ve helped them to live a life like nothing bad has ever happened.

In their willingness to “stop playing dumb” about who they really are and to take 100% responsibility for their happiness - they’ve experienced a freedom that they’ve never known.

They started living in the Fearless Flow.

A Few Fun Facts:

I grew up in Lawrence, MA – a tough little city located 30 miles north of Boston along the Merrimack River. When I was 12 years old, my mother was murdered. This loss lit a fire in me that sparked a quest for truth, peace and nonviolence which inevitably led me to writing, Yoga, Marianne Williamson and A Course in Miracles.

I was an incredibly curious kid – always wanting to understand everything and everybody around me. I’ve been told that my mantra when I was little was “Why mom? Why mom? Why mom?” I’m still that way. Ha! I’ve been in love with books for as long as I can remember and started writing when I was about 13. I was an athlete all throughout my childhood – started playing softball around the age of 5. I was introduced to yoga in 1988 during my sophomore year at Boston University. After graduation, I moved to Los Angeles where I waitressed, became a personal trainer and played women’s baseball for coach Mike Boyd (brother of Red Sox pitcher – “Oil Can” Boyd).

In 1994, while living in LA, I stumbled across the book, A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson. It literally fell off the shelf at my feet at a bookstore in Burbank, but that’s a story for another time. The teachings in Marianne’s book, which are reflections on A Course in Miracles, opened a door to forgiveness and profound healing. A few years later, I was blessed to meet, live and work closely with Marianne, who became my “spiritual mom”, mentor and beloved friend.

I’m deeply grateful for the women that took me under their maternal and spiritual wings along the way: “Miss” Kae LeFebre, Marianne Williamson and Daphne Rose Kingma. Having lost my mother as a young girl, these incredible women played a huge role in shaping my life. I would not be who I am without the love, support, grace, kindness and occasional ass-kicking from these amazing moms, mentors and friends. I love them and know my mom would love them too. xo

I’m married to my sweetie Chris Lester an incredibly talented musician, songwriter, singer and producer. Topher (as I call him) has been making music since he was three years old! He’s a muti-instrumentalist – with amazing chops on guitar & bass… he can also play mandolin, keyboard, drums, harmonium and definitely, a little cowbell! Ha! He’s lucky enough to be a full-time professional musician and besides his own solo/band work, he’s also in a killer Eagles Tribute Band called the DARK DESERT EAGLES with a couple of the guys from the band Extreme. He’s also written for and been on tour with Sully Erna (Godsmack) and has had the honor to play with the legendary Carole King.

I’m an animal lover, vegan and supporter of animal rescue and animal rights. I believe that all beings deserve to live happily and freely from cruelty and suffering. I’m the lucky mom of seven furry kids – four little dogs, two silly cats and one crazy bunny!
