As a kid coming up in Lawrence & Boston, MA - I grew up around a cast
of characters that were naturally, JUST incredible storytellers.
Whether it was sitting around the dinner table, listening to “massholes" shoot the shit at a bar, or eavesdropping on my family during a night of adult beverages & playing cards - the rhythm, flow, pacing & pause of telling stories just got into my DNA.
As a yoga teacher, I’ve been speaking in front of people at local classes & regional events, at large festivals & intimate workshops, at all-day programs & weeklong transformational retreats for over 20 years.
As the host of The Karen Kenney Show podcast and as the former producer & host of "The Yoga Show with Karen" (which ran for 13 years on ConcordTV & was one of their most popular shows) - I understand the kind of connection, communication & content necessary to meet an audience where they’re at, engage them deeply & leave people different than how I found them.
As the author Leo Tolstoy says (I’m paraphrasing), “Art is transferring feeling from one heart to another. It removes the separation between the one who creates the art & the one who receives it and perceives it.” This is my intention & inspiration as a speaker.
