This episode was born out of a totally “meh” start to my morning.
I woke up feeling unmotivated, a little bit whiny, and definitely not in the mood to pick up heavy things in my basement -or- to hit the record button for this podcast.
But here’s what I did instead of bullshitting and bailing on myself:
- I went downstairs and did my strength training anyway. (with minimal whining) 😆
- I kept my word to myself, even though my attitude wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows.
- I used that same inner muscle to sit my ass down and record this episode for you.
In the show, I get into:

• Why self-discipline isn’t a form of punishment, it’s about self-respect
